About Us

Shaw Farms Equine & Therapeutic Center, LLC is a non profit 501 (c) (3) Therapeutic Equestrian Center located in St. Clairsville, OH, owned and operated by Jeannine Shaw, a CECTH certified instructor, founder and CFO, along with her husband, Scott Harvey. Our facility offers Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies to individuals aged 4-20 with developmental /physical ~~dis~~abilities allowing them to achieve their highest potential. Healing through horses fosters improvement for mental, physical, emotional, and social well-being. As professionals in the Equine Industry, our goal is sharing with others the opportunity to experience healing, true love, and enjoyment that is the power of “Equus.”

"SFETC 1st Fall Fundraiser~ "Western Hoedown" October 22, 2022

SFETC is a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization organizing its 1st annual fundraiser event to raise funds to help SFETC provide therapeutic services to its participants

The event, SFETC 1 st annual- "Western Hoedown" will be held on October 22, 2022 from 4 PM to 9 PM at SFETC. We will be offering dinner, live country music featuring, Gage Joseph & Danni Davis, live & silent auctions and a 50/50 cash drawing. All proceeds will be used to fund the therapeutic center and benefit its participants

In Memoriam

Shaw Farms Equine & Therapeutic Center is dedicated to the memory of Bonnie Jo Shaw who passed away May 10, 2011, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Bonnie’s passions were: a love of her family, caring for those in need, and horses. These passions were the inspiration behind the founding of our organization. As our Equines fulfill and enrich the lives of all who enter our facility, we know that Bonnie is sending her love and blessing us all as we witness so many beautiful moments daily. May you rest in peace, Bonnie, as we carry on your legacy.
